Augmented Reality (AR) is a trendy technology that is very present in Industry 4.0. This technology allows the user to visualise part of the real environment through a technological device on which graphic information is superimposed. In this way, the real world is combined with virtual elements.

AR is based on the ability to track the environment and accurately position digital objects in relation to it. It uses sensors such as cameras, accelerometers and gyroscopes to capture data from the real world and then process and overlay graphics, sounds or additional data in real time. It can be experienced through a variety of technological devices such as mobile devices or augmented reality glasses.
