MoMa - Mobile Manipulator Robot
MoMa, an innovative solution that combines the power of a mobile robot with the precision of a collaborative robotic arm.
This is a robotic solution that automates not only the transport of goods but also complicated handling operations (picking and placing of parts, storage, placing, holding, sorting, etc.). By combining a collaborative robot and a mobile robot, we obtain a new generation Mobile Manipulator or MoMa.
It consists of:
- A TM collaborative robot arm: It picks up different products with different payloads. - A collaborative mobile robot LD: transports the whole assembly autonomously to various locations. - RobotIQ collaborative electric gripper as the final handling element: allows handling different products with different shapes, dimensions and weights. - Artificial vision technology integrated in the robotic arm: machine vision gives the manipulator a perception of the environment and helps to correct possible errors in the movement of the mobile robot.
It is an assistant in the transport of various materials and works independently of the other stations in the system. It is prepared to be controlled from an OPC-UA client (a PC client, a service on a system computer or a PLC).
