New Option Available for the M&I-400 Didactic System: Integration of the AMS Cabinet

Discover this new option for the M&I-400 didactic system, designed to develop skills in Mechatronics and Industry 4.0 technologies. Users now have the option to integrate the advanced AMS cabinet, which provides a range of essential technological innovations.

The AMS cabinet includes a wireless local network access point (WIFI AP), facilitating connectivity and remote access to system resources. Additionally, it comes equipped with a pre-configured compact computer that acts as a web server, hosting the management software and system database. This allows for centralized and efficient management of all functions.

The standout feature of the cabinet is the Air Management System (AMS) from SMC, designed to optimize system pressure and flow. This innovation promotes sustainability and energy savings, which are essential in modern industrial environments. Complementing this functionality, the EDR (Energy Data Receiver) collects electrical consumption data from the "Power tags," offering a detailed view of energy use and facilitating the implementation of efficient practices.

Moreover, the cabinet includes an Augmented Reality server that supports the SMC AR-Viewer application, allowing users to interact with system components in a virtual environment, enhancing understanding and practical learning.

With these new capabilities, the M&I-400 didactic system not only positions itself as a fundamental tool for training in Mechatronics and Industry 4.0 but also reinforces the development of skills in sustainability, energy efficiency, and Augmented Reality, preparing students for future technological challenges.
