The handling device MAP-206 is the answer from SMC International Training to the increasing demand of flexible handling systems which allow to control different variables such as position, speed and acceleration.

The system includes a three axis device, two of which are servo-controlled (X-Y) and a third one driven by a DC motor. This handling device performs the location of metal parts in a warehouse with different positions using an electromagnet.

The control is based on a 7” color touchscreen (HMI) with built-in PLC which gives access to the different operating modes.
