Our key commitments: Energy efficiency and global sustainability

SustainabilityFor years, SMC has been committed to leading various energy saving activities that help reduce energy consumption and contribute to global sustainability. SMC has 5 pillars for energy efficiency in compressed air systems:

- Generate only what you need

- Recover what you produce

- Monitor your consumption

- Use only what you need

- Be efficient

At SMC International Training we are also committed to energy efficiency and global sustainability, which is why all our equipment contributes as much as possible to the company's overall commitment. As part of the 'use only what you need' pillar, all our equipment operates at the minimum pressure required to function properly. Most of them are limited to a pressure of 2-3 bar, which is sufficient to operate the systems efficiently and safely. This reduces compressor consumption, contributing to energy savings and one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Furthermore, at SMC International Training we believe in the importance of training future workers to use the available energy resources in the most sustainable way. For this purpose, we have the ENS-200 system, an energy saving trainer with a series of applications (vacuum, actuators and blowing) aimed at learning and implementing the methodology related to energy saving in compressed air installations. With ENS-200, you can show your students how to detect possible excess consumption and propose measures to avoid it.
