Among the functionalities of the M&I-400 - Mechatronics and Industry 4.0 training system is the possibility of programming in Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment).

One of the various stations that can make up this system is the iProduct feeding station - M&I-402. This station feeds the smart fillings (iProduct) from a horizontal store and inserts them into the product container. The iProduct has 6 different colours with which to illuminate the product, so that the filler will be illuminated with the colour defined in the product to be manufactured, identified in the RFID tag.

This smart filler is based on a compact development board with an integrated microcontroller that is programmed in the Arduino IDE. This allows students to learn to program in this framework and is also open to the development of new projects related to it.
