As members of society, we at SMC have always sought to make a positive impact on the world around us. As such, we are committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the 2030 Agenda. We have previously shared some of the goals where we have a positive impact, either through our business activity or some of our didactic solutions.

Sustainable Development Goal 8 seeks to promote inclusive and sustained economic growth to drive progress and create decent jobs for all, thereby improving living standards. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to give young people the best opportunities for decent employment through investment in education and training focused on highly innovative and high value industries.

From SMC's didactic division, we recognise that we can be a major player in promoting education in innovative and technology-driven sectors. We currently offer one of the widest ranges of educational equipment for training in automation technologies (mechatronics, industrial automation, industry 4.0).

Thanks to our equipment, training centres have the opportunity to offer their students training that includes the systems and components currently used in the industry - creating highly qualified professionals ready to face the reality of the sector.
