Spanish education ministry in collaboration with the education departments of each Autonomous Community organises each two years the National Championship of vocational technical colleges, most known as SpainSkills, where students from all regions of Spain compete in 32 different specialities. The winners of each speciality will represent Spain competing in the EuroSkills and WorldSkills.

The competition will take place in Madrid (IFEMA – Pavillion 9) during 5-8 of April 2011.

SMC International Training with its distributor for Spain Alecop will sponsor in this edition the Skill 01 – Polimechanics and Automation.

Apart from the participation in Polimechanics and Automation, SMC will be present as a collaborator in the following specialities  through the cession of equipment for the tests:

• Skill 19 – Industrial Control.
• Skill SS02 – Industrial Vehicle.

Also, inside the Polimechanics and Automation competition area there will be a zone where people will be able to see the new energy saving trainer ENS-200  recently created by SMC International Training.
