FMS-200 is a totally modular and flexible didactic system, developed for an integral training in automation. The technologies integrated and the assembling process with several variants, allow the user to develop the professional skills required by the automated industry of today and tomorrow.
Presentation of the HAS-200 training system (Highly Automated System). The HAS-200 has been devised based on the training requirements in industries with a high level of automation.
The new FAS-200 system is the ideal answer to integral training in industrial automation. It is fully modular and flexible equipment and in keeping with industrial reality. The technologies included in its different assembly stations, as well as the assembly process with several variants, allow the user to develop the professional skills required by today’s automated industry.
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The system reproduces a flexible automation cell which carries out an assembly process involving a number of predetermined parts with a total of 24 different possibilities.

Parts are transported between the different stations by an automated transfer line with corresponding stoppers and precision lifters-positioners. Parts are mounted on pallets.
The process stations function either independently of the transport system, or integrated into it.
Each station has its own electrical panel, where the wiring system and PLC are fully visible for study, while new elements may be fitted to the panel if desired. This electrical control panel may be made entirely independent at each station for use in programmable PLC training. In addition, students may design and build their own controls with different PLCs and subsequently integrate them in the station.
Each station looks like the following drawings:

MODULAR TRANSFER SYSTEM:
The transport system is composed by 2 meter long lines admitting up to 4 stations each.
Different layouts can be defined for future expansions. You can see some of the them in the pictures below:

Faul simulation system:
Most of the stations incorporate a Fault Simulation System fitted to the side of each station. The system consists of a lockable box containing 16 switches which, when operated, cause a fault in the station.

Our powerful simulator integrates now some more features:
AutoSim is already availabe in English, French, Spanish, German, Turkish and Russian languages.
With the aim of better accessing our customers, we have added our local partners details. This way, the contact will be closer, faster and more customized.
Our new e-catalogue is already available in 3 languages (ESP/ENG/FR) under indexed pdf form. Ask your local contact for further information.

A new version of FMS-200 with Ethernet network is now available forour customers.
The Ethernet network between controllers, allows the increase in volume and speed of the data transmission, and also enhances the training capabilities of the system.

SMC International Training, at the front of training in industrial automation.

A new version of FMS-200 (developed as a response to a customer´s particular needs), is now available. The modifications in the training equipment allow the introduction of new technologies, as well as the increase of the training capabilities of the system:

Station 2 (bearing assembly): A new warehouse is included, with a photocell for material detection. This new feeder allows both types of bearings to be housed in their own warehouse, so the cycle time can be reduced.

Station 7 (robot): This module has been equipped with a 6-axes robot, with an artificial vision system integrated. This way, the quality control is done in the same station, allowing the robot to fix the faults in the assembly (lack of axe, cover, etc.)

Eight BCRs (bar Code Readers) have been added to the transfer system, with serial connnection to PLCs (RS232). This way, this new technology is added to the FMS-200, allowing two ways of pallet detection (inductive sensors and bar codes).
This new version reveals once again the flexible and modular nature of the SMC International Training systems.
